At birth we entered a contract to navigate the world together.

No matter the size of the storm, we must navigate a path ahead. As the world turns to fire, we’ll seek out the cold. Every lesson will teach you survival and push you closer to leaving the nest. You’ll go solo, but not yet. Not yet. Until then we’ll seek enrichment, bring you sunshine, and celebrate your presence. We are blessed.

Some days there will be swings, other days a seat out of reach. Often they’ll be skies and mountains to ponder and explore, whilst a bed to lay down and explore the world from pages within a book.

Some things will explain other things whilst much will leave questions. Questions will lead to answers and more questions. Stay curious. You must always explore. Choose your passions and share ours too. Seek your own world.

Hop, skip, jump, and leap far. Stay still if you wish to do so. Reach for your targets and never look back. Make glorious mistakes and add moments of regret to learn from. Develop wisdom of your own. Watch out for cars.

Envelope yourself in a blanket of love. Be kind. Respect life. Walk your walk with your head held high. Do your best. Wear a smile like a badge. Never give in.
