Veins showing boldly, ice flowing through coldly.
The swagger has gone, the light has not shone.
Stone replaces the many beats, without the need for feats.
The temperature rose, now nobody knows.
Beasts chose this path, giving no laugh.
I’m wearing a hollow crown, high over the frown.
Darkness swallows me whole, emptying up my soul.
Growling tormented screams, ending all dreams.
No rose without thorns, these days free of dawns.
Eternally sweltering heat, sleep patterns less neat.
Lonely bedspread of solitude, world emptying seclude.
Where is hope today? It’s gone so far away.
